      Application

The process took 2 months. I interviewed at L'Oréal (New York, NY) in Nov 2015

      Interview

L'Oreal came to my school's engineering career fair in October. I talked with two recruiters at their booth, and I thought the conversation went fairly well. A weeks later, an HR recruiter emailed me asking to set up quick call. I wasn't sure at the time whether it was an interview or what. A couple of weeks later, we finally had the call. She mostly just asked me what I thought the position was and what impressions I got the from the recruiters I had talked to a month earlier. She then described what the position was and gave me advice for the next step, the technical phone interview. Overall, it was pretty chill. After maybe a week and a half, I had a technical phone interview with a Operations Development manager in the division that I had expressed some interest in. And this interview went fairly well. They are above looking for passion, so if you can express that in your answers through your school projects, clubs, and work experience, then you have an advantage. A week later, I got a call from the HR recruiter with the job offer..

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at L'Oréal in Sept 2021

      Interview

A recruiter reached out to me to learn more about my experience and share more information about the role I applied. We both scheduled a time that was convenient but the day of the meeting, the recruiter was over 30 minutes late. He never reached out to let me know he was going be late and during the meeting he never apologized or acknowledged the fact that he was late. After the meeting I asked what the next steps were, and he told me I should be getting a few interviews set up and will be completed within the next two weeks, but it took them TWO MONTHS to reach out for an interview. When I eventually got the email, I wasn't given an opportunity to pick another date and time as they already chose one for me without confirming. I turned down the interview and future opportunities with them because the entire process /interaction with the recruiting team was very unprofessional and disrespectful.
