Uploaded resume to the Applicant Tracking System and applied for a position. Several months later, I was contacted by a recruiter for a Senior Network Engineer role. Recruiter then put me in touch with the engineer I replaced for a technical interview. Technical interview lasted 30 minutes and an offer was given to me two days later.

General questions about OSPF, basic troubleshooting, and subnetting.
Mix of technical and competence based questions, including technical question relevant to what was included in the JD. Competence based questions based on re-calling past events and how you handled them.
