I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lionbridge (Taipei) in Feb 2018
Interview
Since Lionbridge brands itself as the global leader in translation, it seems like a routine for us applicants to take an exam, just so they know your translation level. So I took the exam which was a breeze for me, as I had been a freelance translator for two years.
Shortly after the exam, the interviewer came in the room with my exam papers marked congratulating me on my top-notch test score. She then asked a series of questions, like whether I had experience in translating, or in Project Management, if I can give her some examples where I perform cross-divisional tasks, and what I think about high-pressure, fast-pace working environment, etc.
The whole interview process got as smoothly as it can. Most importantly, I was provided with a solid idea as to what it's like to work there which I think is a critical factor for a jobseeker like me. I would not want to enter a company that I know little about. Yeah, so overall I'd say it was a pleasant interview.
