      Procurement Lead Interview

      5 May 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bengaluru
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LivSpace (Bengaluru) in Apr 2026

      Interview

I applied to Livspace through LinkedIn, and initially things seemed fine. I got a screening call within a couple of days. But after that, the entire experience became stressful and very poorly managed. I was asked to take the first technical interview within 3 hours, around 5 PM. I requested to move it to the next day, which is a very reasonable ask, but HR insisted it had to happen the same day because the manager was “traveling to China.” During the interview, it was quite clear that this urgency was not genuine. Still, I adjusted and completed the round and it went well. Next, I was given 3 assignments with a 48-hour deadline, which I completed on time. Then came another interview, but I was never clearly told what kind of round it was even after asking. This kind of lack of transparency just makes it harder for candidates to prepare properly. The most frustrating part started after this. One afternoon, while I was heading out for a family event, I got a call saying 2 new assignments will be sent now and it needs to be completed within 10 minutes. I had to turn back home and drop my plans to finish them. Later, HR mentioned the actual time given was 45 minutes. That honestly felt like unnecessary pressure, likely caused by their own delay. Immediately after submitting, I was told there would be an HR Manager round in 2 hours. I prepared quickly and joined the call on time only for no one to show up. There was no prior communication. I had to follow up myself and then it was rescheduled to next day. The HR Manager round was also not a good experience. The interviewer seemed disinterested, rude, and not engaged at all. After that, there was silence for a few days. Then suddenly, I got a message saying there would be another round with the HOD in 2 hours. Then another call asking me to join even earlier. When I joined, I was asked to wait for another 45 misn again due to delays. At this point, it just felt like there was no respect for my time. Finally, I was informed that I was selected. But the offer was honestly shocking. The salary offered was an absolute "JOKE" not even close to what someone with 7 years of experience and international exposure should expect. It was even lower than market standards and what I was earning years ago. When I questioned it, HR couldn’t justify it properly and started to blabber stories, which made no sense. (felt she got panicked for being questioned) I declined the offer immediately. Overall, this felt like a very unprofessional and exhausting process, too many rounds, too many last-minute demands, poor coordination and no transparency where it actually matters. Advice to management: If peanuts are the budget, expecting seasoned professionals instead of monkeys feels a bit ambitious.
