During my interview at the Hyderabad office, I encountered a situation that I believe warrants attention. One of the interviewers, a female technical interviewer, seemed to lack a proper understanding of the subject matter. She continuously scrolled through a document or possibly an online list of questions, reading them out without any real comprehension of the answers. Moreover, she did not introduce herself, which is a basic courtesy in any professional setting. In contrast, another interviewer conducted the process effectively, asking relevant, real-time questions that tested practical knowledge. It's concerning that someone who doesn't appear to have the necessary skills or understanding to conduct a technical interview was part of the panel. This not only wastes the candidate's time but also reflects poorly on the company. I strongly recommend that Lloyds Banking Group review their interview process and ensure that all interviewers are adequately trained and capable of assessing candidates in a meaningful way. Even after answering all questions she rejected people! What a waste!
