I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Charlotte, NC) in Jul 2009
Interview
Initial phone interview to determine if I should fly out for face-to-face presentation. Was asked to visit facilities and interview. Put together a full-blown presentation and was interviewed by a panel of 7 execs. Did not hear anything for 2 weeks. When I placed a phone call to inquire about the position, I did not get a phone call back, but I did receive a rejection via email. A LOT of work for a simple email.

I applied online. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (San Antonio, TX) in Sept 2016
Interview
They asked lot of scenario based questions but common sense makes it a breeze. It's a lot of personality and team effort related questions as well. Overall an easy interview experience.
