I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Luxoft (Saint Petersburg, Sankt-Peterburg) in Aug 2018
Interview
The interview was a classic tech one, but suprisingly was lacking a code writing part.
Theoretical part was covering a part of JVM-related questions, algorithms, minimum knowledge of how the hardware beyond the code works + kernel questions.
Also there were a couple of case studies discussed and they offered to find or enhance proposed solutions, however all of this was verbal.

I applied online. I interviewed at Luxoft in May 2026
Interview
An easy coding exercise at the beginning followed by a bunch of mostly theoretical questions from the programming language, frameworks, databases, concepts like microservices.
Unfortunately the interviewer was from another project and couldn't answer my questions about the role.
