I had an HR screening call first, which was neutral. The recruiter asked standard questions, but seemed uninterested in the process. The next round was with the hiring manager, and she was very personable and easy to chat with.
I ended up getting a rejection email, but the process took an exponential amount of time and communication was minimal. From the time I received my email noting an interview request, to the time I was rejected, took a whole month with just a recruiter screen and one interview.
I asked for feedback on why I wasn’t selected/anything I can do to improve, and I got crickets. No reply. I would definitely recommend working on hiring communication, as it currently feels dehumanizing.
