The best I've ever been too! I was only casually looking but the team there has won my heart.
The interview process overall was very quick, super engaging and extremely relevant.
I had applied online and got an acknowledgement back within 24hrs and an invitation for a phone call.
The call was really quick, lasting about 20 mins trying to assess my skill set's relevance to the role and to give me information about the company. The recruiter was more knowledgeable about the software systems in use than I expected.
Then I received an invitation for the face to face interview, to be scheduled at the earliest possible date. When I arrived, I was first given a tour of the office. The interview lasted 3 hours, where I talked with people from a range of teams:
> The first 30 mins were with the Head of People and Culture. An excellent conversation around how MOO works and how I would fit in.
> Then an hour was spent with 2 Platform Directors talking about my skills, method of management and current technology stack I'm working on. Extremely relevant questions were asked,
> That was followed by an hour of technical discussions with a Software Architect and another Development Manager. There were questions around the architecture my current company is using and we white-boarded a use case end-to-end. Both the interviewers were really open for discussions and actively participated as stakeholders.
> The last half hour was spent with the GM of the internal client team. This was a remote call with the interviewer in US. You need to know the etiquette or remote calling to make this successful. The pressure was to ascertain my will to work for MOO.
Within 48hours, I had my offer in my email. The delay now is from my side.
Everyone was really nice and welcoming. At the end of the interview, I was left alone so I had to see myself out but I'm glad that happened, otherwise it would have been too perfect.
