      Intern Interview

      26 Aug 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Miami, FL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at MSC Cruises (Miami, FL)

      Interview

Very rude phone call, from start to finish. I do not see this being a top company in Miami, nor a good work culture to fit into. They asked for commitment, but refused to disclose how much the full-time job would pay. I felt the entire time I was being judged for every answer, if I was not 100% proficient in a very specific tool/software. Very vague promises, and they will ask you to travel a lottt, uncompensated. They also kept reminding me how "competitive" the $20/hr internship was, and how much more qualified my competition was. They quite literally told me their qualifications, saying one had a master's degree. One of the 3 interviews was a waste of time, just making sure they still had my interest on their hook, to stall me out for better applicants. I would save your time!

      Question 1

Can you see yourself working in the cruise line industry long-term, as we are looking to hire applicants that see a long-term future working in cruise.
