The interview consisted of the following:
1) Initial phone screen by HR recruiter (from India):
-This initial phone screen is a very basic conversation with the recruiter, they just want to know what sort of experience you have. As I was a fresh undergraduate, the recruiter suggested that I be placed for a junior analyst role (which I am guessing is a junior analytics analyst role). The recruiter then sent me a link to an SHL (Verbal + Numeric) aptitude test which is not too difficult. The recruiter made it quite clear that upon passing the test (no cutoff rubric provided), then only can they proceed with my interview(s). They recruiter was very responsive to emails and clear in communication. They were also willing to answer clarification questions regarding the interviews (I asked my recruiter about the set of criteria that the upcoming technical interview would cover) which was very helpful.
2) Schedule for technical interview via phone (with Japan office):
- The interviewer was very nice and pleasant to talk to. Although my interview was delayed by 15 minutes, the interviewer called in when my interview was initially supposed to take place to explain that they were with a client and asked me if it was okay if they called back in 15 minutes.
