I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Medpace (Cincinnati, OH) in Feb 2022
Interview
This was the weirdest interview I've ever had. The layout was pretty standard (5 interviews with 1 or 2 employees, all about 30 minutes long). However, the interviews themselves sent off alarm bells. The first few interviews I got exceptionally basic statistics and CS questions that didn't pertain to much of anything. This being despite the fact a masters degree in statistics is required. For example, one interviewer asked me what the variance of a binomial distribution was, while another asked me how to convert a string to float in python. Additionally, I asked many employees what their most fulfilling projects have been and they all scoffed and said the projects just blended together, which doesn't give me faith that I'd enjoy this job.

I applied through university. I interviewed at Medpace (Cincinnati, OH) in Feb 2025
Interview
Started with some general background questions, then a more senior employee drilled me on statistical topics and terms, and then a SAS programming challenge before a wrap-up with HR. Overall, everyone was friendly and helpful but I didn't get the sense that they really wanted to be there.
Was ghosted after the interview and provided my SAS certification , I reached out through email but no response. And the worst part is they keep posting the job on different platforms.
Thank you for leaving a review. We sincerely apologize for the experience you’ve had while interviewing as this is not our typical process. We are always looking to improve and appreciate the insight you have provided. We wish you well in your future endeavors.
