I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Meta (Menlo Park, CA) in Feb 2020
Interview
This was for a contracting position. It started off with a phone interview, which lasted around 40-45 minutes. I was then moved on to the second and last round of interviews. The last round was in person and resembled speed dating. There were 3 desks with an interviewer and a candidate at each one. I believe it was 15 minutes with each interviewer. Decisions came 2 days later.
An interview process involves submitting an application, meeting with recruiters and managers, answering questions about skills and experience, completing assessments, and receiving feedback or an offer after evaluation. It's a simulation.
The process was very streamlined, and for the role, I thought fairly easy if you've done the role in the past.
As follows:
1.Email requesting availability
2. PreScreen with Recruiter
3.Test
4.Interview with Hiring Manager
5.Panel three people
6.Got a call for the offer but declined for a different role at Meta
Very fast and quick recruiting process. Recruiting was responsive and was able to move me along quickly. They really took time out of their day to make sure that I was going to be successful in my interviews
