I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Meta (Burlingame, CA) in Aug 2020
Interview
The interview process has a high bar. A really good pipeline of strong candidates and the well calibrated interviewers. It’s a fair process across many axes from product thinking, team collaboration, craft and execution skills
Long and painful on purpose. Expect long interviews, including skill tests, back to back. They won’t accommodate for your time zone. Lots of recruiter coaching, way more than typical. Expect at least six or seven touchpoints in all.
I had 2 interviews before they decided to stop with the process. It was very standard. Nowadays for a design job you have a lot of interviews and it's a very long process.
