The process seemed typical for the size of the company. There was pretty good communication and people there seemed to be engaged. Overall, this was an okay experience for a large megacorp.
I applied online. I interviewed at Meta (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Two rounds of remote interviews followed by one onsite visit. I talked to two people in each remote round. During the onsite visit I talked to four people including my hiring manager.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Meta (Austin, TX) in Jan 2022
Interview
Went through 3 rounds of interviews for the position. One with the recruiter, one with a few people on the team including the manager, and one with some cross-functional partners with the team. Each section had different kinds of questions. The recruiter was specific to previous employment and qualifications, the team interview was more direct about what the day to day would be and how you would handle various situations and the last interview was on working with other teams and how you work within a team setting.
