I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mindstep (London, England) in Dec 2021
Interview
This was a job I really wanted - my parents have dementia, and the mission of Mindset really resonated with me.
The interview was about half an hour. We discussed my background in social media, especially in relation to the intersection of healthcare and social media - some fascinating stuff!
Nothing was designed to trick me, and overall I left feeling confident.
They also gave good feedback after the interview which was really useful.

Interview
TO preface I didn't get the job, which is disappointing.
But! I had a great interview - the interviewer was really kind, and engaged, asked relevant questions, felt like a conversation and not an interview which is a nice change of pace.
It was a 30 minute call, discussed background and my past experiences and how I'd apply that to this job.
I really loved how they offer shareholding as a signing bonus - I really want to feel engaged and like I own my work, so that was a huge plus.

Question 1
Past experiences, how I overcome difficulties in marketing in the past.

Interview
The interview was rushed, the questions showed a lack of marketing experience or understanding as for a social media role they wanted a head of marketing instead but with a low pay, they did not bother to respond until chased. I had already accepted another role as the most senior UK marketing hire at an international company but I like to get feedback for my own knowledge. It is a team of all men, and as a woman interviewing, the interviewer rushed and seemed distracted. The tech is cool but having worked at startups and corporates, if you want a head of marketing then hire for that role with appropriate pay. Don't hire a much less senior and lower paying role and dump the entire marketing function on them for such low pay. It's exploitative. Also they clearly had no awareness of what goes into making annual marketing plans and marketing strategy, or marketing budgets.
