My interview process could not have gone any smoother. I had initially found out about an admin role earlier in August through a sorority Facebook group, but I was unable to pursue that position at the time due to my current job at the time. However, a few weeks later, someone reached out to me about a different position; the corporate recruiter role. I was so excited to have another chance to get to learn more about the position and all that Mondo had to offer. My first few phone calls were so warm and inviting. Each person that I spoke with only made me more intrigued about the position without having any previous knowledge about it myself. I was invited in for an interview and although nervous at first, after a few minutes I was completely at ease. I was able to ask questions and have a great conversation with two internal recruiters. They made me feel very comfortable and they were both extremely informative. I learned even more about the Mondo culture, position and role that I would be playing in the company and I left feeling excited and extremely positive about my whole experience.
I loved the environment of Mondo the minute that I walked in the door. It was very friendly and just a really cool office setting. I could tell that it would be a great fit for me immediately. I was then brought in for a second round interview in which I met with one of the VP's. The conversation was very natural, informative and helpful for me. It didn't feel forced or awkward at any time and I left that meeting feeling even more confident about the role and my fit in Mondo. A little while later I received one last call with an offer for the position. I was so excited! After having such a great interview process my only hope was to be able work for Mondo. So far the experience has been so exciting and I love it here!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What type of manager do you feel comfortable working under and why?
Initially, I applied online from a posting on LinkedIn for a role as an administrative assistant. After an initial phone screening, I was brought into the office to speak with my recruiter, the hiring manager as well as several VPs. Although I was not extended an offer for that specific role, a month or so later, I was sought out by my recruiter for another position she believed would be a better fit. After a brief phone conversation, I went back into the office to meet with the team leads of the talent acquisition team. After having a final interview with a VP, I was extended an offer shortly after that I accepted.
The internal recruiter was bubbly, friendly, and made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process (for both positions). She was considerate and was able to provide me with genuinely helpful feedback. Even when I wasn't offered a job originally, I still was able to take a lot away from the experience-- and I can attribute this to their team! They were flexible, accommodating and I felt that the interviewing process for both positions was straightforward and smooth. I never felt out of the loop; all in all, both experiences were extremely positive.
