      Interview

      The interview consisted of standard recruiter phone screen, three phone interviews followed, then one onsite interview with individual and panel type interview scenario. All of the interviewers stated that their process was daunting and long. I felt it was inline for what I have experienced in this most recent search.

      Interview

      The recruiter reached out through LinkedIn for a role , and I agreed to take up a call since Mulesoft was so known for its culture etc . The recruiter was crisp , honest and I enjoyed the conversation with the recruiter . She was quick to respond and quick to set up the next round with the panel . I was little surprised to see lack of diversity in the panel . One person in the panel particularly stood out - He was 15 minutes late to the video interview , no apologies or acknowledgement to the delay , yawned 3-4 times during the interview , again no apologies ! Generally felt that they were disinterested in the interview process and felt that they spoke to me out of KPI based obligations - diversity candidates, # interviews before making a decision etc , which was weird since they reached out to me . Eitherways - changed my opinion of the company culture . No surprise, my candidature did not proceed further . You kinda get that when the panel yawns through the interview !

We take hiring very seriously—at the end of the day, we are all people and we want to ensure a positive experience and mutual fit to join us. One of the reasons I love my team is that we have such strong representation of many diverse backgrounds and countries of origin, so I was surprised to read your comment about a lack of diversity! I'll do better next time to ensure that we have a more diverse panel at the outset. Please take from me that we do value your time and your willingness to speak with us about the role, and any indication otherwise was an error on our part. Thanks for your feedback.

      Interview

      The MuleSoft interview process was very methodical and well-thought-out. Although many of the interviews were conversational in style be prepared to extensively review your personal accomplishments. Everyone was intelligent, professional, and personable as well as genuinely interested in both the company's and my best interests.

      Thanks for your feedback on our Customer Success interview panel. We're continuously working to improve the experience of our candidates and it's great to hear that our efforts are paying off. While there was not a match at this time, I hope our paths will cross again in the near future.
