Interview
1 screening and 6 interviews. All with Senior Managers or Directors.
Whole process took about 10 weeks. Overall it was a smooth process and the recruiter's communication was great from start to finish.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Netflix (Seattle, WA) in Sept 2024
Interview
Everything went well, got a couple rounds in. Was told they weren’t moving forward. Not great, had no idea what they didn’t like. Recommend that people read the Netflix culture memo. Seems super intense and easy to get laid off.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Netflix (Los Gatos, CA) in Mar 2020
Interview
Good start with the hiring manager reaching out, positive phone screen and a terrible onsite. They scheduled the onsite between 11am-3pm but forgot to ask me if i was hungry or anything. One of the interviewers asked me irrelevant questions like the name of my boss, how many people were working in my current org, the city I was currently living in, the city I worked at more than 10 years ago and the programming languages that we used at my current company (no followup questions or other questions). Other interviewers only discussed behavioral skills and zero technical questions. I did not feel like working for this team.
