I’m really sorry that you feel that you had a bad experience interviewing with us. I believe our recruiter spending considerable time learning about your experience, describing the role and the environment to you and answering your questions, showed great respect and interest in you as a candidate.
Roles go hold in companies every day for various reasons. Next Generation’s internal recruitment policy is honesty with our candidates, and while we may not feel the need to explain to you all the reasons why the role has gone on hold, we do not use it as an excuse to decline candidates.
It is unfortunate that you feel alienated, but a business decision was made and that meant not progressing with your application. This was communicated to you within a week, which seems like a reasonable time-frame.
