The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Latham, NY) in Mar 2010
Interview
I met with the Recruiter a presentation at my college and e-mailed later that night attached with my resume. After the first interview they had led me to believe that I would be sponsored for my Series 7 and 66 licensing and that I would have a more dynamic internship meeting with prospective clients. After the second interview they assigned me to create a natural market before I accept the internship consisting of 100 name of people in my market and 10 market surveys within that market.
Other Intern interview reviews for Northwestern Mutual
Straightforward process, interviewed with them on campus. They provided the information I needed. I decided to not move ahead with the interview process as it did not align with my goals, but the interviewers were cordial and professional.
Felt like they were selling me something the whole time. Super easy to talk to, but something just felt off the whole time. Had multiple phases of them explaining why they're so perfect and great to work for (massive selection bias in some of their numbers)
