The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2011
Interview
Met two reps at a career fair, talked for a while and gave them my resume, got a call a couple days later asking for an interview. Went downtown to their office, talked with their director of internships about my resume, typical questions like strengths/weaknesses, favorite/least favorite jobs I've had, etc. Then talked about the internship itself, made a list of my pros and cons, then discussed them. They asked me for a second interview, which I scheduled, but then called back a few days later and cancelled it. Everyone was friendly, professional, it just wasn't for me.

Question 1
Describe your most rewarding and least rewarding jobs, and why.
There were four or five interviews, if you count the meeting with my future mentor. There were also a few personality assessments. Lots of paperwork. The finance industry is tightly regulated.
The first interview was easygoing and went fairly well. We talked a little on myself and what northwestern was all about. Because they wanted to see how I could fit in to their team and what I would bring.
I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Greenville, SC)
Interview
The process was smooth and straight forward. A lot of behavioral based questions, but relaxed and low stress. First phase is a phone screening followed by a teams or in person meeting.
