Interview
Manager makes you wait 30+ minutes, brief questionnaire about experience and availability, tour with certified trainer, then you come back for a second interview where you will wait again. The peer interview with the trainer is a simple look around the restaurant but its more or less a tour. You are supposed to ask them questions about serving and I am pretty sure that they report this back to the managers so make sure you ask good questions. I say this because the manager came back with a discussion based on a question I asked that she had answered for me.

Interview
My "interview" was evidence enough of how terrible of a place this must be to work. First off, I am seated for 20 minutes "waiting on a manager" with no accommodations, nor word on when the manager would be out. Ten minutes into my wait another interviewee is sat next to me, and finally the "managers" came out. If the wait wasn't bad enough, the interview was much worse. Questions being asked that in no way, shape, or form could ever be an accurate reflection of my work history or ethic, or had any coincidence with the job being offered. When I was finally sat down to be interviewed, I was met with no "sorry for the wait" or any such courtesies, instead it was instant "what can i bring to the company?". I'm not sure Olive Garden, can you bring competent managers to the table and punctual interview times? I was offered a second interview that I will NOT be indulging in, nor would I expect anyone else to. This was the worst interview experience I have ever had and I pray that they find managers that can be on time to interviews that they schedule, along with ones that can look at resumes beforehand.

Very quick process. There was a test to answer ahead of time. Was reminded the of the interview and reminded to continue my application. Interview was about 15 minutes long.
15 minute chat through resume with assistant manager. 20-30 minute chat with general manager. More about how I deal with customer service situations and then personality questions. Emphasized i was willing to learn.
