6 rounds of interviews.
A very long process, which I took some time off for.
I went through the whole process, they seemed to have really liked me. Emailed me saying everyone was excited and thrilled with me joining, etc.
I reached out for an update after the final round and they kept telling me they are deliberating and I'll have an answer end of the week. Different answer than the final interview and email telling me I passed the gauntlet, including the recruiter. This kept being repeated for a month.
Got another offer for a similar role, and told them, they asked me to wait on accepting for the week, and then ghosted me. I accepted the other offer and now a Data Science and Analytics manager elsewhere.
All in all, I felt disrespected and my time was wasted. I went through 6 rounds of interviews. If they wanted to reject me, just let me know, I am okay with being told no. Instead, they dragged me along and kept saying wait wait wait until finally I went elsewhere.
Highly unprofessional conduct, and would strongly not recommend. Interviews work both ways. Applicants give their best to be present and respectful, but the same is expected from the potential employer.
The job is no longer listed, and I do not think anyone was hired for it.
