I was first contacted about this position and asked to complete an online assessment. I completed that, had a phone interview, then had a series of onsite interviews, all the way up to the CEO, as well as being instructed to re-take the assessment a few additional times (all and all, the process took right at a month). After that, I was told that I lost out to an internal referral, and that I would be given an offer if they could open a second position. They did, and filled it THAT one with someone else (both much younger than me). I felt strung-along and lied to.
