The process started out fine with the initial phone screening followed by a virtual interview with a couple other developers. After this interview however, things fell apart. The next interview was with a member of the product team along with a senior developer. The product team member was friendly and was able to carry on a conversation. The other guy though, just sat there the entire time rocking back and forth in a chair with his arms crossed and didn't say a word. I found this not only unsettling, but it was also unprofessional and a waste of my time and his.
I ultimately did not get the position. I'm not entirely sure how this decision was made when one the interviewers did not speak the entire time; Never asked questions, never provided feedback. He might as well have not been there. All in all this was not a great experience and I feel this reflects poorly on the company as a whole, which is a shame.
