I attended a "hiring event" with Paycom this summer and I can only describe the process as bizarre. There were armed security guards hanging around which was concerning and that was my first impression. Applicants were seated in a conference room to watch some paycom publicity videos while waiting for their number to be called. Once my number was called I was taken to another, larger conference room and seated with a Paycom associate who asked some basic questions. I can only describe this as speed dating. I guess I didn't look quite right...or maybe didn't look young enough to make the cut, because although I was told (by three different people) that I would hear something within a week. Suffice to say, I never heard anything from Paycom. There were no phone calls and no emails. They just lied to me. And after reading the horrific reviews here on Glassdoor I can only thank every god in the book they did not contact me again. Working there looks like absolute hell. I'm guessing they hire recent college grads who don't know any better and stay away from seasoned professionals who would never put up with the nonsense that purportedly goes on there. I am very unimpressed with this company, again...they lie to your face. I have owned Paycom stock for awhile, and frankly I'm thinking of dumping it (at the right time) because this company is definitely not in line with my principles. I thought that might be a good place to work, but again, thank God for the Glassdoor reviews to show me the light. Also, check out twitter, their customers also hate them.
