Interview
My company was calling people back to the office and I wasn’t game for that. I turned on my LinkedIn status and almost immediately Press Ganey reached out to me (remember this).
I had a call with a Director and this person wanted to move forward to the next steps with me. There was an untimed coding exercise that I needed to complete before the final interview, and I was very upfront about the fact that it would be several days before I could even think about getting to it. They said “no problem, just understand that it could delay things”. So, almost a week and a half later, I began the exercise and probably spent 3-4 hours on it.
I really enjoyed the exercise, and had a lot of fun with it. My solution was clear and concise, and it displayed a lot of current technology along with many design patterns. I showed it to some peers, and they agreed!
That was over a month ago, and I never heard one word back from these people. Thankfully, I’ve landed with a Fortune 100 company and it’s a moot point. But,think twice before you engage with this unprofessional, small time firm. Odds are, they won’t be worth your time.

Question 1
Discussion with Director wasn’t technical, but led to coding challenge for a REST application.

While we are glad to hear you enjoyed the project, it is unfortunate to hear that it did not work out on timing.
