      Learning and Development Manager Interview

      1 Aug 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ProblemShared in Jul 2024

      Interview

Quite drawn out but their online portal is not bad. However, some terminology is questionable considering their sector focus! "Rejected" could be better phrased! The multi interview setup was OK, pretty standard. Would have been good, again for the sector, to supply questions in advance. This was to fill a vacant role which meant there were no SMEs involved, which was a shame. I felt this was a "do we like you" interview more than "can you do the job", but it is what it is. Interview feedback - very poor and generic. Didn't bother chasing for more as I felt it was "right, done, move on". I think it was borderline negative as a process, very little communication, could be better considering the sector. It was quite "nice" but not sure that skillsets was the main focus, team fit was.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at ProblemShared (London, England) in May 2023

      Interview

Smooth process but not asked questions related to the role on a technical fit or given much insight about role/opportunity to showcase potential as they are not in the field. Told by Team they are basically seeing if they like you on a personal level. Both were very nice and said there were no concerns/liked the interview. Got rejected by automated email and had to chase twice for generic feedback - this is quite surprising given the platform they work for. Not the worst experience, but definitely improvements to be made to protect brand and people experience.
