I applied online. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance
Interview
Took a pre-employment assessment. Passed. Scheduled a phone interview: the women seemed very unprofessional to me. Absolutely no personality. I've handle numerous successful interviews and definitely knew that I was more than qualified for the job, especially since I ended up getting a better position with another company. However, the way she just came across made me very uninterested in working for a company of this sort. They definitely need to improve their hiring personnel. I've never come across a terrible recruiter.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to deal with conflict?
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance in Apr 2016
Interview
The process took 2 days. I received an email the day after I applied indicating I had met the minimum requirements from my background and asking I complete an online assessment. The assessment was timed for 2 hours and including questions identifying trends based on data given, situation questions and behavioral questions (1 least effective, 5 most effective). Finally there were several questions on my desired preferences in the work place (1 least desirable, 5 most desirable). I did not find it too difficult, math and graphs come easy to me, however the situation based questions were challenging, as I am not coming from a business background and the focus is much different. You should answer honestly to see if the company is a right fit, however in hindsight I definitely felt that I should have approached the question more with the bottom line and personal responsibility in mind ("If I had to finish a project due after hours" choosing to work late and at home vs. asking for assistance to finish during the work day). I had a problem with the test that there was a "back" button however it did not work for me to be able to review/change my answers. There are a couple I wanted to change but I do not think it would have made a difference. The process was efficient and I was well informed of every step. Overall I thought the process was fair.
