      Research Services Project Manager Interview

      30 Jan 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Qualtrics in May 2022

      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Qualtrics (Provo, UT) in Jan 2019

      Interview

I applied online after being advertised the role both on LinkedIn and at my university’s job fair. I applied around Oct. and received an interview request in late Jan./Feb. I initially applied to a different role that was filled, but a recruiter reached out to me about the Project Manager job because they thought I might be a better fit for it, which was nice. After a standard phone screen I was able to speak with someone who actually worked in the role I was interviewing for. These were a nice touches that other companies typically wouldn’t even consider. Afterwards, they wanted to set up a video interview about 1 or 2 weeks later. The video interview was tough, as I interviewed with 3 different people from 3 different teams. Only one of them would actually work with me. One would work in a conjoining team (sales I believe) and the other was in a totally different team. The interviews in all lasted about 2+hours. One thing I didn’t like is that I was asked about my GPA, which wasn’t terribly low but also wasn’t glowing. I probably shouldn’t have even included it, but I would have hoped a young and progressive firm like Qualtrics would have easily looked past something as banal and old fashioned as GPA since there are clearly a plethora of indicators of a good employee besides it.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

Describe what Qualtrics is to me.

      Question 2

Tell me about a time you made a really big mistake and how you learned from it.
      Answer question
      The process took 3 weeks.

      Interview

This was super, super disappointing. I interviewed for this position that I was overqualified for and ended up not even getting past the phone interview. I know someone at the company so it makes sense that they want to pay a recent college graduate minimum wage instead of someone who has experience. I dodged a bullet!

      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Qualtrics in Aug 2021

      Interview

The interview process had a number of stages: (1) phone call with a recruiter so she could assess my interest and fit (2) three successive 30-min interviews with employees at various levels of the company (two job-based, one culture) (3) a HireVue digital interview (4) a short online learning module (Comp Sci basics) and fairly in-depth learning assessment

      Project Manager Research Services Interview

      31 Mar 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Dublin, Dublin
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Qualtrics (Dublin, Dublin) in Feb 2019

      Interview

I had a phone interview and then an on site interview. There were 2 weeks between my two interviews. I felt the on site interview went well but I never heard back from them. I contacted the recruitment coordinator after 3 weeks to look for feedback and did not get a response. I then contact the person I interviewed with after 4 weeks to look for an answer and again did not get a response. It is now 6 weeks since the interview and I assume I did not get through to the next stage, but it would be polite if they would at least respond to my emails...

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

During the on site interview, I was asked a lot of questions such as; tell me about a time you overcame a problem, when you made a mistake, when you accomplished something etc.
