I called for F2f in Bangalore office. I called for Big data and surprisingly they started asking Trees, Linked lists. I asked if it is for bigdata? He replied the first round is about algorithms. After that he asked to wait for 5mins, i was waiting for an hour but no response. I started searching for HR but dint find. Luckily i found the same guy who interviewed.i asked him the feed back and he told wait for second round. Luckily after two hour second round started and everything goes fine. Next round was coding round where they have shared a word file with data and excel with questions. Need to answer. To my surprice they gave me a Lap where no hadoop is installed. they are asking me to install what ever u want. AM i joke to them? How can a dev knew how to insatall all components. I told i cant, and i wrote all the code and mailed, They verified and came back after an hour. After that One more Technical/Manager round and completed in 45 minutes. They came with my code and asked to explain. Everything was smooth and time was 8:30 PM. After that they told one more tcon round . Got a call next day and again it was atechnical. They shared a link and i need to write code. completed and explained the logics. Feed back was good. To my surprise after that i haven't get any call. when i called and asked HR, they told it will take some days. I don't whats the some mean. Pathetic interview, they will waste two hours of your time for every round. After everything you wont get any call. People who want to go for big data developer, be prepared for Java and algorithms like tree, linked lists.
