As an internal candidate, I met with the hiring managers first and then they put me into contact with HR. I never heard back from HR. I got ghosted by the company that I work for.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at REI in Aug 2019
Interview
First phone interview with HR with the typical questions about background and expectations. Second phone interview was about 2 weeks later with marketing manager. She seemed rushed and asked more in-depth questions, but didn't leave much time for me to ask questions. After that interview, I didn't hear anything back despite me following up. Not professional to ghost applicants.
