I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ramp (New York, NY) in Oct 2023
Interview
The hiring manager explicitly told me that work life balance is not something that is common at Ramp. I appreciate that he was candid in his reflection on the sales culture, as it allowed me to self opt out of the role.

Question 1
What sales methodologies do you use/are you trained in?
Recruiter reached out over LinkedIn. I had a phone screen with the recruiter, meeting with the hiring manager, and role play discovery call with the hiring manager and an AE. Hiring manager was good throughout but the AE was disengaged and unwelcoming during the role play call even when not in character, and expected me to be an industry expert. Recruiter and hiring manager seemed not to be on the same page about hiring urgency and timelines. Overall like any other AE interview I’ve done. Not sure why a peer AE is involved in the role play it should really be just leadership so it’s unbiased.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ramp (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2025
Interview
call, intro interview, then a mock then a meet a team memebr then hear back. Standard interview process with standard types of steps you'd expect to find. Just study their page and look at how the people at gong sell and thats what they want.
After filling out an online application, I was selected for an initial screening. The interviewer asked valid questions but for some reason I never got to the next step. Nothing wrong with the company or process.
