I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut in Jun 2021
Interview
After a short chat with recruiter I was asked to book date and time for my first interview. While the interview we briefly discussed my skills, experience, expectations and career goals. I was told about the position, company and benefits. After the interview they assigned me a home task.
The home task was about creating a simple web app with a few screens. The requirements were clearly defined, however there was a room for creativity. Once my solution was approved I was invited to the next stage - the technical screening.
During which we primarily talked about the JavaScript and it's core concepts. I was challenged to solve a set of problems as well as to answer some technical questions essentially about JavaScript fundamentals. Shortly after that I was invited to the technical interview.
The main focus of the technical interview was on React, architecture, testing as well as development processes. I was challenged to add a small feature to my home-task-app within a limited period of time. Also we discussed a bunch of technical and non-technical aspects of software engineering. After a few hours I got a email with an invite to the final interview. Before long I've also received an invite to the bar-raiser interview.
During the final interview I got a chance to tell about my greatest achievements as a software engineer and explain technical decisions I made in the past. We talked about the teamwork in the company, current challenges and further goals. I got a chance to ask all the question about the position.
The bar-raiser interview followed right after the previous one. I was asked to explain some decisions I made during my career. Then we deeply discussed a single project I was working on in the past. At the end the interviewer asked me a set of soft skills related questions and answered my questions about the culture in the company.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut in Apr 2024
Interview
The recruiter was late for the interview and didn't apologize. They seemed unprepared for the interview, as they almost cut it short at the beginning because they couldn't remember what position I was applying for. Next, there was a coding challenge. After that, I had a technical interview with a specialist. At the end of the interview, they promised to get back to me within two days. However, I never received any results or feedback. For a company of this size, I think this is unacceptable. Even an automated response would have been better, but I didn't get that either.
The interview process was good. I was able to speak with recruiter and it was very polite and gentle. Recruiter was asking some technical questions that was unusual for me, and for the next step it was 3 algo that you need to solve 2/3
