I applied to a UK role, even though I'm currently based in Portugal. They just assumed that I wanted to work in Portugal, so in the first interview I had to clarify that I wanted to work from the UK. They said that the UK roles were for Seniors, but maybe they could open an exception. They talked about the company, the role, and the team. They asked some technical questions at the end of the interview (Python, SQL and algorithms). I asked about work-life balance, and they said that if I expected to have a 9 to 5 job, Revolut wasn't the place for me, with the excuse that all start-ups require extra working hours.
