I applied online. I interviewed at Revolut (Sydney) in Oct 2023
Interview
Very much what you'd expect from a McKinsey Interview. Questions include scenario-type questions, so be prepared to justify your rationale, and be clear on the structure of your 'advice' before diving deep into each aspect of the solution(s) - think MECE.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
You are in ops. You are given information by the interviewer. Provide advice on how to optimise the process so as to achieve the goal mentioned by the interviewer.
Spanish lady had no idea that I was booked in. Had no idea that there was a job available and seemed to be watching TV while interviewing. Strangest experience I've had.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Revolut in May 2026
Interview
I was approached by a recruiter at Revolut on LinkedIn and applied via the website.
Screening call with HR was promptly arranged. I got to chose the date/time via a site.
Online assessments followed the interview.
Skills interview with Manager arranged and that's where it went downhill. Asked to explain my CV then various case studies which were not particularly clear as the interviewer was reading from a script. No questions were asked of me.

Question 1
Nothing. They asked me to explain my CV and did various case studies. The interviewer was reading from a script. She was utterly disinterested in me and even yawned during the interview (without apologising).
Said she only hires 'smart people'. Said there was far too much volume of work. Talked about 'managing out' those that don't perform. Said they are struggling to hire (no wonder!). Huge reg flags.
The process was hectic but feedback is really quick and engaging. The hiring agent is amazing and communication is always open and considerate. Quite a lengthy process and you must really prepare as some question are not related to your work rather how you think and process
