      Human Resources Coordinator Interview

      7 Sept 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I interviewed at Ring in Aug 2016

      Interview

I had a phone interview with the recruiter. She asked a few generic questions, but basically had no rapport. When I answered a question, she would respond, "Okay," and then proceeded with the next question. The experience was as if asked to complete a verbal questionnaire to an automated machine. During the interview, little effort was made to engage with me. When I asked about the duties and responsibilities of the position, she only said who the position would be reporting to. Her tone and words were impatient, as if she did not want to spend time recruiting for this position (I know it may not be the most exciting position to recruit for) or there was a lack of training to do an interview. The other reviews here also reflect similar experiences. When the interview was over, my availability for an in-person interview was requested (preferably the following day or day after) and was told I would be contacted that day or the following day, but no one did. At this point, I was already turned off by the whole experience. Recruiters are a candidate's first introduction to a company, so it would be in Ring's interest to create a positive experience and best impression where the potential candidate would WANT to work at the company, regardless if the position was receptionist or COO. If the recruiter is the BEST introduction to the company work environment, then the reality of the company work environment behind the front gates can't be much better.

      Interview

The Recruiter sent me an invitation for a phone interview. I called at my set time but the Recruiter was unavailable. She called me back but my interview time had expired so we set up another time to speak. I was finally able to speak with her on the second phone call.
