      Interview

The interview process was pretty quick and streamlined. I applied online, they got back to me the next day. Prior to the interview there was an additional ask for written answers. Something that threw me off was a behavioral and cognitive assessment on top of that, but I also don't understand the benefits of these assessments. Maybe I'm missing something. I only did the initial phone interview, and we discussed typical questions and information you'd expect. The interviewee was kind and personable, and I enjoyed our conversation. Something I appreciated was her honesty. When I asked a question I could count on getting a straightforward and truthful answer. No beating around the bush here. I ended up withdrawing my application because there were aspects of the role that didn't make sense to leave my current job for. The next step was an interview with leadership, on video, for a total of an hour.

      Interview

The interview process seemed to be streamlined and extremely organized at the beginning. I was really excited about it and impressed with how it was handled. Their process is streamlined and is divided into three steps: *Assessments *Interview *Second interview - a 2hr business assessment I was contacted by email with an explanation of the process, some questions about myself and my experience, and the link to the assessments. A few days after completing the assessments I was invited to the first interview. Everything was organized, and the interviewers were pleasant and helpful. I asked about the timeline and they assured me I should be getting feedback the following week. Thank you note was sent and I waited to hear back from them. Up until this moment, I was still really impressed. The following week came and went with no news from them. The week after that, I sent a follow-up email asking for any status updates or feedback - that was almost a week ago. I was ghosted. What began as an organized, professional, timely, and smooth experience was overshadowed by the fact that I was simply ghosted by them. It is called professional courtesy. A simple rejection email would have given the process a proper closure, and it is the right thing to do. As much as I would have wanted to move on to the last interview and get the job, maybe it was better this way as it speaks volumes about their practices and culture.
