I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rolls-Royce (Birmingham, England) in Jun 2016
Interview
Apply followed by 5 numerical/psychometric tests.
Then an assessment centre consisting of a test, and 2-3 interviews followed by a group exercise. It wasn't very strenuous as long as you be yourself, show up on time and looking smart. I also advise preparing for the presentation that you have to do in one of the interviews. The presentation is 10 minutes which you could blag, it works sometimes but it's much better to prepare.
I interviewed at Rolls-Royce (Barrow in Furness, England)
Interview
Questions were not especially difficult and the team conducting the interview were friendly. There was a significantly long wait on the result of the interview. The team were also flexible when it came to rearranging the time slot for the interview to match my schedule.
