I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Rolls-Royce (Derby, England) in Feb 2017
Interview
The interview has four sections: company briefing, 1:1 interview, case study and group case study. 1:1 was focusing on the working experience and your potential future manger would be one of the interviewers. I found case study was a bit challenging which you will be give about 20 min to prep and then asked questions based on your proposal. I was practising group study so felt it was ok for me. Again a case will be given for you and your partner to work on together and presentation will be required at the end.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Rolls-Royce (Derby, England)
Interview
The process started off well, communication was quick, and the initial recruitment contact was friendly and professional. The interview itself was formal and focused on scenario-based questions. I was told that a decision would be made the same day once all interviews were completed. However, after three weeks and two follow-ups, I finally received a brief email stating that another candidate had been selected, with no feedback provided. I requested feedback, but once again received no response. It’s disappointing, especially considering the time and effort candidates invest in preparing for and attending interviews, and the high regard many people have for Rolls Royce. Unfortunately, the recruitment agency’s lack of communication reflects poorly on the company, as timely and transparent communication goes a long way even when the outcome isn’t favourable.
Assessment center inclusive of interview and presentation.
Whole day event, very well thought out and organised. Intense day but important for them to find the right people.
Good venue used for the day and easy to get to and find.
All people interviewing and presenting to were very welcoming and kind.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rolls-Royce (Indianapolis, IN) in May 2023
Interview
Meet with the hiring manager, procurement manager, and 1-2 buyers holding the same position you will interview for. 1 hour interview. First 5 min are introductions. Next 10-15 are overview of the role. Next 30 minutes are actual interview questions. Final minutes will be for questions. I recommend asking the buyers any questions directly, as they will have the best insight to your daily role.
