I applied online. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Honolulu, HI) in Jun 2017
Interview
Well I was going interviewed at a different location because the location I'm at now is a brand new store that I was hired for. When I arrived and got into the room I was asked about a position higher then my original application. I got to talk a little more on a personal level with the store manager
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What are my work availability like, what previous retail stores have I work at, and how much I was looking to get paid
The interview process at Ross Dress for Less consisted of meeting with a store manager to discuss my customer service experience, cash handling skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. I was asked situational questions about handling customers, teamwork, and resolving problems. The process was straightforward and focused on my availability, work ethic, and ability to support store operations
Fast and easy! They mainly asked about my previous work experiences and my availability. They also asked what great customer service is like to you and why I would be a good fit to the company.
I was interviewed over the phone and than asked to come in person. So I could meet the team and talk to them. It wasn't too hard but it was kind of a waste as I didn't get a call back.
