      Interview

Fairly simple, really quick, the business is desperate for employees, anyone can pass the interview. The 3 hour video you’ll have to watch was the ONLY training I have ever received here and will provide you with more information then any manager or interview sadly.

      18 Apr 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Round Rock, TX
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Round Rock, TX) in Mar 2018

      Interview

A bunch of situational questions.. which I feel are unnecessary because you have like.. very little to 0 interaction with any customers and the work doesn't require you to work much with your co-workers, you're pretty much working alone trying to hit your quota. They also asked me to tell them about myself, dug into my previous work history, why I wanted to work there, what I wanted to gain from working there, more situational questions about co-workers, customers, stealing/theft, etc. They didn't call me back, so I got worried I didn't get the job since I am terrible at interviewing and they were asking me questions that you can't really prepare for. I did a follow up e-mail with the manager and he literally called me the next day apologizing that they got so busy with everything and he asked me if I would work with them. Of course, I said yes. Once he got everything into the system, I had to fill out a bunch of stuff online, background check, etc. then.. I went into work whenever I was able to and filled out some more paper work, went over the company guidelines, benefits, etc. then I was employed.
