I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2014
Interview
I applied online and received an email 2 weeks later stating to call to set up an interview. The Interview was fairly easy, I spoke with a quest manager first who greeted me at the door. He asked me a set of questions and decided that I was qualified for the position and passed me on to the store manager. I had a second interview with the store manger who only asked about 2 questions and offered me a position but stated that they will have to wait for a background check and that I should receive a phone call a week later. Overall the interview process was quick and fairly easy and took about 30 mins total.

The interview process at Ross Dress for Less consisted of meeting with a store manager to discuss my customer service experience, cash handling skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. I was asked situational questions about handling customers, teamwork, and resolving problems. The process was straightforward and focused on my availability, work ethic, and ability to support store operations
Fast and easy! They mainly asked about my previous work experiences and my availability. They also asked what great customer service is like to you and why I would be a good fit to the company.
I was interviewed over the phone and than asked to come in person. So I could meet the team and talk to them. It wasn't too hard but it was kind of a waste as I didn't get a call back.
