I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Vancouver, WA) in Feb 2015
Interview
I applied, but I didn't get a reply until about two months later, which was a little discouraging. The actual interviews were very positive: my new supervisors were very upbeat about the position and the store and seemed genuinely in not only my work experience, but also who I am outside of work. I felt very welcome throughout both of the interviews that I had. My supervisor told that I had basically gotten the position in my second interview.
it was very pleasant and they will almost always hire you if you are a tolerable person who can work hard and well with others. It would be strange to not hear back from them within a week due to how much demand they usually have for employees.
Very lowkey. They asked basic interview questions. They just wanted to know availability for work and if you’re available during their most busy hours. Nothing super professional, but they want to make sure you’re going to actually come into work.
When arriving, they do accommodate you to sit in the break room while waiting on an interview, which is great because you’re not standing around the store looking crazy. When you get in the back and we’ll meet with the Store Manager or an assistant manager short it seems rushed like they genuinely didn’t have time set aside for interviews. They were trying to move along candidates.

Question 1
About my availability. Whether nights and weekends were an issue.
