      Application

I applied through university. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at SLB in Sept 2011

      Interview

The interview process was quite simple and very casual. Everyone seemed quite laid back and the atmosphere was friendly. First of all they did a sorting of resume. Then they asked one or two questions and formed us into a group with a topic to discuss upon. I guess here they test your fluency in English as a second language and some personalities. After eliminating some, they divided us into two groups. They gave us a mechanic tool box, told us to make something (Plane, car) and give a presentation on it. You have to be outspoken and be a team man to get through this round. Here more were eliminated and the final interview started. There were four guys and I was asked mainly behavioral questions. It lasted about 30 minutes. Everyone was very friendly and I was able to get a good hold of the recruiting manager. Maintaining a good connection with him helped me to land an internship offer at first and then the job offer.

      I interviewed at SLB (Mumbai)

      Interview

It was an on campus hiring. First they shortlisted based on CV. Then second round was group discussion where we were given abstract topics like "Half filled glass of water" and were asked to discuss. This was also an eliminatory round. The final round was more of a HR round, they asked behavioural questions, few puzzles (very easy) and general knowledge questions
