I applied online. I interviewed at SLB (Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi) in Feb 2016
Interview

I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SLB (Houston, TX) in Feb 2018
Interview
The interview process was very unorganized and overall disappointing. A recruiter emailed me an invitation to a screening interview the next day, only providing 10 hours notice. When I met with her at the interview, I discovered they were interviewing me for a position I had no class experience with (accounting), rather than sales, the position I applied for. When I told the recruiter there must be a misunderstanding, she went on to assure me I would be a good fit for the role and moved me on to the final step of the process in Houston.
I did not received any travel/interview information, despite reaching out to the recruiter, until the day before my flight. The first day included a rig tour and dinner. The second day involved a short introduction presentation and a 2:1 interview. The interview was going well until the interviewers began asking accounting questions, something I had no experience with. The interview quickly ended after two accounting questions. Overall, I feel like the recruiter wasted everyone's time. I also haven't received an email or call rejecting me from the position after almost 2 months.
Very disappointed in this company and their hiring process.
