Quick 15 minute interview, discussed previous experience but was not required and walked around the store. Manager I spoke to was very chatty and was a very informal interview, mostly trying to gauge if I was able to do the job. Was offered job on the spot.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sainsbury’s (Milton Keynes, England) in Oct 2009
Interview
Very easy going, a top bloke as a manager took me on at the time, a few questions about what do I know about the company as a supermarket chain? what does it mean for me to work in a supermarket? what work do I have to do? and what can I bring for the success of the company by working for them, and how can I achieve it?
Very simple interview asking basic competency questions, the reasons for applying and what I know about the company. What are my future goals and aims etc. Generally easy questions which should take minimal time to prepare for.
