      Senior Manager Interview

      5 Feb 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Sydney
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Scentre Group (Sydney) in Aug 2025

      Interview

I applied online and the HR called me for an initial screening. Went for a face to face interview in Sydney. Was as ok interview. Questions were not related to my experience and I believe the hiring manager did not give a fair chance to show my skills instead had like a notebook of questions. I would have liked it if they had dug deep into my skills than just some cookie cutter questions. They said we would get back with some feedback but as usual the HR ghosted me after the process and I had to login to their site to check the status. What is with the practice of ghosting a candidate and not providing feedback? If you are a HR and reading this please not that 'Being Kind is free'. Provide timely feedback so that candidate value the experience and will consider working for your organisation in the future.
