I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Richmond, BC) in Apr 2011
Interview
I was interviewed by the Manager of Customer Service and the Customer Service Supervisor together. Went through 2 interviews, the first interview was shorter than 30 mins, and the second interview was more in-depth and took almost an hour. After the second interview they will do a criminal check, and reference check on you if they "consider" you, then if you pass all checks then you're called back and offered the job with a contract (in my case).
Very chilled and eye opening. They asked me a few questions and more details on my resume. They were very patient and listened. Just be very authentic too it saves

Pretty well balanced between formal and informal, keen to understand your goal and explain the company's goal. Pretty clear what they need from you and how they can be part of your growth path. The hr helped to have a better contract as well.
